Who we are
Who we are
Athletes play, but Racers race. In 2025, the inaugural season of Grand Slam Track will bring together only the fastest from around the world to see who is most deserving of that prestigious title. This is not about the time on the clock - there are no rabbits or pace lights. When all the rivals are there, there is just one thing that matters most: crossing the finish line first.
The brainchild of 12x gold medalist and American sprint legend, Michael Johnson, Grand Slam Track is giving fans what they have always wanted – more head to head matchups. No more ducking, and no more excuses. As the premier global track league, the Racers will compete against one another in four Slams vying for the biggest prize purse in the sport’s history.
Track doesn’t have a demand problem, it has a supply problem.
With a new format designed for track fans to watch their favorites more often, the eight Racers across 12 event groups will line up against each other twice over the course of three days. That’s double the action, and double the rivalry. Now the fastest runners will be handsomely rewarded for their speed, range, and dominance! The frustration has been loud: it is difficult to follow beyond the four year cycle. But gone are the days of not knowing when or where the fastest people on the planet will be racing – they are at Grand Slam Track.
