About

There is a burden of expectations placed upon the shoulders of a prodigious athlete that breaks records before getting a driver’s license. As an Olympic qualifier at 16-years-old standing on the track at Historic Hayward Field, the dreams of races to be won and medals to be earned were no longer Sydney’s alone, but shared by all those who watched her fly.

And with all eyes of sports fans across the globe trained upon each hurdle cleared – it would seem improbable to always deliver – yet she does.

Olympic Champion. World Champion. The fastest to ever do it.

To race like Sydney it takes faith. Faith to know that after shooting out of a cannon into the first turn and eating up the ground on the back stretch, that she will thrive when it counts most… the finish.

50.68 seconds is not enough time to fully appreciate her gift nor the work to navigate an oval full of obstacles. But it’s not just about the clock, it’s about winning against the best in the world.

And if there is one thing track fans can agree on, it’s that they want to see even more of Sydney competing on the biggest stages. That’s why she is Grand Slam Track’s first ambassador.
