It is possible to go to any corner of the world and find Sasha Zhoya fans. The French high hurdler was the Diamond League Champion last year, but having grown up in Australia and with a father from Zimbabwe, the triple passport holder has plenty of support. And watch the 22-year-old race – let alone celebrate – then you’ll understand why the enthusiasm for the budding young talent is global. Zhoya has fun when he’s competing and it’s no secret why… he’s fast! And you know he can hurdle with the best of ‘em, though his flat 100m will be the secret to his forthcoming Grand Slam success.

Fun Fact: Sasha is the World U18 record holder in the pole vault having cleared 5.56m at 16 years old!
