About

Buy more land. That’s what Fred Kerley is going to be doing after an outstanding 2024 season that added yet another medal to his arsenal. Following this year’s bronze in the Olympic 100m, the man from Texas has earned a medal at every major global championship since 2017.

Kerley is a fan favorite for two reasons: he is fast and this is clearly fun for him.

Never scared to talk a big game, call his shot, or challenge the competition, Fred is an entertainer whose feet are not the only ones talking. He brings with him an infectious swagger and confidence that is hard to root against, and makes it hard not to believe in.

Kerley was the NCAA record holder when he won the 400m for Texas A&M and eventually got his time down to 43.64. Despite a podium finish at the 2019 World Championships, he went against the odds and all pundits’ advice and switched to the 100m only to move further up in Tokyo, and eventually at the top in Eugene.

Like a freight train rolling down the track, Kerley’s top end speed is not something you want to stand in the way of. He makes it down from one side to the other in 9.76 seconds with a violently powerful stride.

Always one to bet on himself, Kerley took no convincing to join GST. The best Racers in the world going head to head four times a year? Fred was born for this.
